Brownwood Local 2863 was established in 1981 and serves as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all of the non-exempt employees of the Brownwood Fire Department. Local 2863 is an affiliate to the Texas State Association of Firefighters and the International Association of Firefighters who represent us on a State and National Level.
